\beta-type and generalized \beta-\gamma -type multi-valued contractive mappings in a Menger PbM-space

Abstract

In the present paper, we introduce the notions of $\beta$-type and $\beta$-$\gamma$-type multi-valued contractive mappings in a Menger $PbM$-space and obtain some new fixed point theorems for both $\beta$-admissible and $(\beta,\gamma)$-admissible mappings. Our results extensively generalize previous results in this framework. Furthermore, we support our results by some non-trivial examples and an application.
